Hi guys! It's Children's Day🎆. May 27th is about celebrating the girl & boy child. It marks a special occasion dedicated to the youngest members of the society. Children's Day serves not only as a celebration of childhood but also as a reminder of the importance of nurturing the joy, innocence, and creativity inherent in every child.
Every Child is a joy to a family. Psalm 127:3-5 made us understand that; Children are God's love-gift; they are heaven's generous reward. Children born to a young couple will one day rise to protect and provide for their parents. Happy will be the couple who has many of them!..
The significance of children's day is to honor and appreciate the unique qualities and potential of every child, the necessity of providing them with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive.
Let's talk about what my title entails. The reason for this write up is to let you know that you are a child too, you matters too. You have to reconnect with your inner child. There's a saying that you can't be older than your parents, and I believe this statement applies to them. 😊 Every adults was once a child. What differentiate you from being one is the growth and responsibility. As adults, it's easy to become consumed by the responsibilities and stresses of daily life, often at the expense of the joy and spontaneity we experienced as children. However, rekindling the child within us can have profound benefits for our mental, emotional, and even physical well-being.
How to reconnect with your inner child;
*Cultivate Curiosity. Children are naturally curious, always eager to explore and learn. Embrace this mindset by seeking out new experiences, asking questions, and never being afraid to say, "I don't know."
*Play and Create. Play is not just for kids. Engage in activities that spark creativity and bring joy, whether it's drawing, dancing, playing a sport, or simply letting your imagination run wild.
*Live In The Moment. Children excel at living in the present, fully immersed in whatever they're doing. Practice mindfulness and savor the simple pleasures of life, from the taste of your favorite food to the beauty of a sunset.
*Express Emotions Freely. Kids are often uninhibited in expressing their feelings. Allow yourself to feel and express your emotions openly, whether it's through laughter, tears, or talking with someone you trust.
*Find Wonder in the Ordinary. Rediscover the magic in everyday things. Notice the details you might normally overlook, like the patterns in the clouds or the sounds of nature.
On Children's Day, consider activities that both celebrate the children in your life and help you reconnect with your inner child. Like;
Organizing a family funday
Engage in creative projects
Share your favorite childhood stories or read new ones together
Encourage children to participate in acts of kindness.
Children's Day on May 27th is a celebration of the boundless potential and joy that children bring into the world. By letting the child within us live again, we can reignite our own sense of wonder and joy, enriching our lives and those of the children around us. Let's embrace this day as an opportunity to cherish the innocence, creativity, and curiosity that make childhood so special and strive to create a world where every child can flourish.
Be innocent today! A child innocence is the child's happiness.
